Adoption Velocity
Change in each output type's share of outputs, in percentage points over a trailing window: 144 blocks per block, 30 days daily
Short ranges plot one point per block, about one every ten minutes. Longer ranges plot one point per day, computed from every block in that day. How it is computed depends on the chart: some average, some total the day up, some are a ratio of the day's sums, and each chart says which. Either way a brief spike inside a day is smoothed away.

About this metric
Definition
Whether an output type is gaining or losing ground, rather than how much it holds. Each line is the change in that type's share over a trailing window, so a line above zero means the share grew. Three lines moving in three directions does not establish that anyone switched between them.
How it is measured
Shows the 30-day rate of change for each address type's share. Positive values mean the type is gaining share, negative means declining. When P2TR velocity is positive and P2PKH is negative, Taproot is actively replacing legacy usage.
